The genetics on which this strain is based dates back to the 1970s in California. It is a poly-hybrid where 3 landrace varieties have been crossed with each other – Afghani, Acapulco Gold and Colombian Gold. Throughout the growing process, constant selection was made for yield, flowering time, thick resinous buds and the renowned pungent Skunk aroma.
